BRIDGE LIVING-LEARNING COMMUNITY

The Bridge Living-Learning Community (LLC) is a residence hall floor located in Lincoln Hall that is thoughtfully designed to ease your transition from high school to college, offering valuable academic support and fostering a vibrant community with your peers.

Where Will I live?

The Bridge LLC is located in Lincoln Hall, which is a short walking distance of the Evansdale Cafe dining hall, the Student Recreation Center, WVU Athletics complexes, Evansdale academic buildings, local businesses along Patteson Drive and University Avenue. The PRT and Mountainline are easily assessable.

Expectations

Spaces in the Bridge LLC are available on a first-come, first-served basis for conditionally admitted students. To secure your spot and confirm your attendance, you must submit your academic deposit, housing deposit, and housing application by April 10 of each academic year.*

Conditionally admitted students must remain in good academic standing by earning a minimum 2.0 college GPA in their first year. Students who fail to remain in good academic standing will not be permitted to continue their studies at West Virginia University in their second year.

Conditionally admitted students are expected to participate in the Bridge LLC early residence hall move-in program and year-round activities.

If you are unable or uninterested in participating in the Bridge LLC, you may attend one of WVU’s regional campuses (WVU Potomac State College or WVU Institute of Technology) and then transfer to WVU Morgantown after earning a minimum of 24 credit hours with a 2.0 or higher overall GPA.

*Housing waivers cannot be honored.
