Your academic success is important to us. Mid-Year Academy (MYA) is being provided to all first-time freshmen returning to WVU and enrolled in the Center for Learning, Advising and Student Success (CLASS) in Spring 2023 who possess below a 2.00 overall GPA and are on Academic Probation. MYA is designed to assist you in your efforts to achieve academic success in the spring 2023 term and help you obtain a 2.00 overall GPA or higher by the end of the spring term.
You should receive an email with specific information regarding Mid-Year Academy and your responsibilities for the program. One part is meeting with an academic adviser, who will be able to assist you in adjusting your spring course schedule, if needed, and completing the academic standing agreement. Your specific date and time for meeting with an academic adviser is detailed in your email.
All MYA activities will be required and need to be completed before courses begin on Monday, January 9, 2023.
