One of the cornerstones of your academic experience at WVUis the First Year Seminar (FYS). Within your FYS course you will:
- Connect with WVU’s diverse and global community.
- Engage with different viewpoints that challenge your ideas.
- Learn about the resources WVU has to offer for your academic success.
- Explore all of the academic opportunities available (i.e., undergraduate student research, study abroad).
- Improve your critical thinking.
This will all be accomplished by interacting with administrators, faculty and staff who will assist you in your journey to graduation here at WVU.
